Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer Location: Coventry Salary: £40,000-£70,000 DOE Type: Permanent, office-based We're looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with strong technical fundamentals and a solid understanding of BS 7671. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing engineering team working across full project lifecycle delivery. What You'll Be Doing Perform cable sizing and routing calculations in compliance with BS 7671. Produce accurate electrical designs in AutoCAD (SLDs, GAs, wiring diagrams). Prepare and update FAT/SAT documentation, Control Philosophy, URS, and manuals. Support commissioning activities, including red pen updates to schematics.What We're Looking For Strong understanding of BS 7671 (essential). Ability to carry out manual electrical calculations (fault current, voltage drop, load calcs). Electrical AutoCAD experience. Ideally familiar with AMTECH/Trimble/ProDesign - training provided if you can do the manual calculations
